Staff Therapist
Peter Martin, LMHC
Peter is a licensed mental health counselor and received his master’s degree in mental health counseling from SUNY old Westbury. Peter prioritizes his patients needs where they can be comfortable to process their stressors in a warm environment. Peter utilizes motivational interviewing, CBT and a psychodynamic approach to guide the patient toward a path of self-healing. Additionally, Peter has experience working with couples who are going through distress in their current relationship.
Peter enjoys working with adults, couples, and adolescents and helping them navigate any challenges they are experiencing.

Staff Therapist
Patrice Jamerson, LMHC
Patrice completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Queens College. She continued her training at Family and Children's Association and Catholic Charities where she provided family counseling to youths and adults. Patrice practices Strengths-Based therapy and Positive Psychology highlighting the client's strengths and building on successes. Patrice views each individual as a person with their own story. She uses CBT and Person-Centered therapy to assist patients in exploring their triggers and coping skills and assisting them on their journey. Patrice also helps clients explore any resistance they may have to therapy.

Staff Therapist
Anjali Sankar, MHC-LP
Anjali earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University (NYU). Anjali's internship experience includes working with various mental health clientele diagnosed with cognitive, behavioral, social, and developmental disorders. Anjali's training in psychopathology included group and individual counseling with children and adolescents, providing personalized treatment plans to improve self-esteem, reframing negative self-talk, fostering resiliency, and emotional recognition and regulation.
Anjali utilizes a strength-based approach and narrative psychotherapy to help clients alternate their cognitive approach to help decrease maladaptive behaviors. She also assists her patients in developing mindfulness techniques in order to cope with anxiety.

Staff Intern
Nia Kerr
Nia is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University. Nia has trained at The Mental Health Association in Tompkins County where she worked with adults who had mental health disorders such as schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar disorder.
Nia is an observant and empathetic person. She provides a safe and comfortable environment for her clients where they can discuss various issues that they need help navigating. She will provide guidance and compassion in treating them.
